Hey Friends! I can't even begin to tell all of you how overjoyed I am that all of you are here to join me on my blogging journey!!
I'm a military wife, and mom to four beautiful children, Ava, Alex, Abby, and Aidan. I'm sure all the moms out there can relate to my crazy life. Health and nutrition have always been a huge part of my life, but I didn't always approach it in the most healthy way. I was that girl who ate low fat and sugar free everything and hit the gym seven days a week thinking I was the epitome of health. Years of eating this way and overtraining I drove myself into adrenal exhaustion. I now approach life much differently as I heal my body from all of the damage I have caused it. This is one of my main reasons for starting my blog as I want to connect with all the other busy people out in this world sharing my personal experiences, easy paleo/primal inspired recipes, and tips on health and wellness. I know it can be tough to prepare meals that kids will enjoy. Often times we make life easier by choosing something processed or picking up some fast food. But, I'm here to tell you it really doesn't have to be that way! You can cook healthy meals that are simple, easy, stress free, and the kids will love, and most of all and your bodies will thank you for it!!!
